When the going gets tough…

So, I hit a wall. (Don’t worry. It was a metaphorical wall.) I decided last night to go ahead and not expect myself to use the treadmill on both Sunday and Wednesday evenings. That way, I can use those times to take twice-weekly showers, and I’ll still be burning 300 calories 12 times a week,Continue reading “When the going gets tough…”

Self-torture is fun! (Not.)

So, I’ve still been spending an hour at a time on the treadmill. I did it once today (and hope to do it again later this evening), twice yesterday, and once the day before. [Please scroll down past the asterisks if you wish to skip ahead to my exercising update!] I’ve been writing my series still, and I’m really enjoying it. I know that the traditional way to write a novel is to create conflict, but I prefer to create wish fulfillment. I like to write in a wayContinue reading “Naughty and out of shape.”

Cards and cardio.

So, I sent out some Christmas cards today. Dear Grandpa Max,  Sorry I didn’t include a note with the hardcover my mom asked me to mail you. Media mail doesn’t allow for correspondence. So I thought I’d drop you a line and see how you’re doing. I hope you have a very merry Christmas! Oh, guessContinue reading “Cards and cardio.”
