I wrote a poem. I’m not much of a poet, although I used to be one in high school. This is the first poem I’ve written in ages.
Rainbows in our Sky (c) Meg Kimball
When I see a room that’s painted white, I want to rainbowfy.
I see rainbows, rainbows, rainbows in the sky.
When I see a room that’s painted blah, I want to rainbowfy.
I see rainbows, rainbows, rainbows in the sky.
If you’re feeling sad and blue, I’ll come and rainbowfy.
I’ll paint rainbows, rainbows, rainbows in your sky.
If you’re feeling sick and green, I’ll come and rainbowfy.
I’ll paint rainbows, rainbows, rainbows in your sky.
Your life turns gray as darkest night, I’ll want to rainbowfy.
For rainbows, rainbows, rainbows keep us high.
And if you fear a thunderstorm, or cloudy winter sky,
Know that rainbows, rainbows, rainbows let us fly.
And when you see a rainbow stretched across the great blue sky,
Know that rainbows, rainbows, rainbows mystify.
And if you think you’re all alone, then read this lullaby—
And find a place inside yourself that you can rainbowfy.
Some red and yellow, green and blue, is just the perfect dye
For my rainbows, rainbows, rainbows in the sky.
Add some sparkle and some bling and let it semidry
For my rainbows, rainbows, rainbows in the sky.
When I fear that no one cares, I’m sure you’ll know to try
To make rainbows, rainbows, rainbows in my sky.
And then I’ll feel so happy, like I’m up a mile high
And together, together, we will rainbowfy…
Whimsical and sweet🌈❤🌈🧡🌈💛🌈💚🌈💙🌈💜
